CCMS has had its attention brought to a potential fraudulent advertising 'scam' targeting schools.
We have been informed that individuals have been contacting schools to request payment for advertising space in magazines.When the caller has been asked for further details about the company they work for and the magazine, i.e. location and contact details, they have been unable to provide these.
CCMS would encourage schools to be vigilant in their checks and processes for payments.
