Calling all former teachers, staff and pupils of St Gabriels College

Calling all former teachers, staff and pupils of St Gabriels College

Monday, March 3, 2008

St Gabriels College in North Belfast is asking all former teaching staff and pupils to get in touch if they have old photographs of their time at the school.

After over 50 years of delivering first rate education to the young men of North Belfast, St Gabriel’s College is to close its doors for the last time in August of this year.

Through the tireless work and dedication of its teaching staff, many of its former pupils went on to gain eminence in, among other areas, the business field, the arts and academia.

To celebrate this success and the life of the college, the staff are hosting a Grand Ceili on the evening of Thursday 13 March 2008 in the College Hall, accompanied by a photographic exhibition highlighting the achievements of its students.

They would welcome contributions from former staff and pupils alike, whether in the form of photographs or other memorabilia, towards the display and for possible inclusion in a soon to be published book celebrating the life of St Gabriel’s College.
