CCMS has congratulated Monsignor Noel Treanor on his appointment as the new Bishop of Down and Connor Dioceses.
The Council for Catholic Maintained Schools has congratulated the appointment of Monsignor Noel Treanor as the new designated Bishop of Down and Connor. In a statement the Council said:
CCMs welcomes the appointment of Monsignor Treanor. His wealth of experience and knowledge will be invaluable to the Dioceses of Down and Connor.
We pay tribute to his lordship Bishop Patrick Walsh whose retirement marks an era in Catholic Education. His contribution to Catholic Education and indeed as Chairman of CCMS cannot be quantified.
