St Colman's High School hosts pupils from St Vincentius College, Belgium

Stemming from the Comenius Programme, St Colman's High School, Ballynahinch started to establish links with St Vincentius College, Buggenhout in Belgium. Every March, year 13 pupils from the school participate in the cultural exchange programme and the school hosts their Belgian friends the following September.

This year, the hosting leg of the exchange took place from 1-8 October 2017. Areas of interest on the itinerary included the Giant's Causeway, Ulster Museum, City Hall, Titanic Museum, sightseeing in Dublin at Glasnevin Cemetery and the Botanical Gardens, hiking Silent Valley and the Mourne Mountains as well as visiting the locations of where Game of Thrones was filmed.
