In an age of change what are the main issues which parents are concerned about?
i am appalled at the lack of clarity on the part of the DE and the Minister. Surely to god they would have thought the plan of what to do next out before declaring their hand?
Bit concerned about the fact that the teaching staff don't have notion about the future or new skills authoriry replacin ccms. What is happening>?
Can the whinging parents not shut up and let the Minister get on with it. As if any of them know anything!!!!!!!!!
Obviously Dr Feel good reflects a small minority of peoples views.
My principal of my kids school hasn't a badly and shes been there 30 years. It upsets me alot as i worry that my kids will end up getting bargain basement eduvcayion
i am getting cheesed off by the constant negative media coverage about education
as a mother of three sons i worry alot that their education is in the hands of the idiot brigade. change, change change i bloody know its happening and i accept no more 11 plus but what will replace it?can the minister stop giving the impression that she is being picked on and stand on her own two feet and kick back with real detail.oh and sammy w needs to quieten down like good little boy as hes too vocal
The Minister has talked about area planning, different types of schools according to local needs, admissions criteria other than academic selection, courses as pathways instead of one hour exams - is she at fault or is it the 'let's keep everything as it is' brigade. Usually the already privileged
I am very worried that my daughter and son will be left in limbo because this Minister hasn't a clue what she is doing. I am gravely concerned that they will not receive a proper education and merely be resigned to some 2nd class system.
