Less pupil numbers, more money for resources. Better salaries to attract better teachers
Giving teachers the time to teach compared to teachers pushing the pen about the page for the sake of the inspectors
Better principals, who can lead and support. A quality teacher can be identified and should be empowered to be professional. By this I mean to be largely free to plan and teach the way they see fit. Making decisions based on skill, expertise and many years of proven dedicated service should enhance teaching/learning experiences. A quality school leader should have the confidence and competence to lead such members of staff.
More respect from society and the knowledge that we are being supported correctly by those in authority over us.Less interference, treat us like professionals.
Less bureaucracy - less requirement on principals to be bursar, maintenance person, form fillers etc, etc, etc
